Dupe!!!!! Ruuuuuun!!! Dupe!!!!!!!!

Hey hey,

I have just been flicking through my camera roll when I saw some pictures I'd taken a while ago. This post is going to be about a dupe (woah now I have your attention!) I bought the MAC satin taupe eyeshadow after seeing it used. After rushing home and ripping it out the packaging I realised I recognised the shade! It matches very closely with a shade from Soap and Glorys What's Nude palette. Here's the evidence.... Enough said xxx

Pretty Pastel Nail Polish...

A mega craze this spring seems to be pastel colours. I have been loving some of the pastel nail polishes that have been on the high street recently. They can make a tan glow and can brighten up any outfit. In particular I have been in love with the Barry M range as usual with these nail paints they glide on effortlessly and last brilliantly, not to mention the fabulous colour range!

The picture below shows some of my favourites most of which are Barry M except for one which is from the L'Oreal Color Riche range. Here is my collection:

From left to right -
(Berry Ice Cream, Peach Melba, Pure Turquoise, Strawberry Ice Cream, Perledejade (L'Oreal)

This photo displays Peach Melba, applied by my nail technician ;)

These nail polishes are available at boots (here) £2.99

Collective Review: Nars...

Around a month ago I ordered some Nars products from their online website. I was very pleased with the service provided online. I ordered three products, one of which is limited edition. Here is my thoughts on the products...

1. Blush Bronzer Trio

This product was out of stock for some time and as a limited edition product I could not resist. I have always wanted to try the famous Laguna bronzer and Orgasm blush and with this product you get both, along with Albatross highlighting powder. They all come in a sweet zip around compact (which gets dirty easily). For £39 I think this product is excellent as you actually get 3 in 1, considering Laguna bronzer alone is £25 and Orgasm blush is £21 it is good value. These products live up to the hype and are very easy to use and look amazing.

2. Larger Than Life Lip Gloss - Cœur Sucré

This lip gloss is excellent! It has a brush applicator which glides on smoothly. The colour is intense and can be worn without lipstick. It gives a sparkly effect and lasts a long time. The colour is beautiful and I highly reccomend this gloss. This lipgloss cost £19.

3. Blush - Gaiety

This is a new shade of Nars blush arriving online for Spring. It is a very pale pink with a slight blue undertone. This blush looks beautiful with a natural make up applied to the apple of the cheeks, I use the Real Techniques Blush Brush. At first I found it hard to apply as it is so pale, but it does give a naturally soft pastel flush to the cheeks! As mentioned above Nars Blush costs £21.

When my order arrive I noticed a free product :) as I had spent over a certain amount! Nars included a trial size illuminator in super orgasm. This is definitely a product for evening make up as the shimmer is intense. But I love it!!!

There is complimentary shipping on all order over £50 on the Nars website (Click Here).
Hope this is useful and happy ordering, the excitement when your products arrive is fab!!! :)

Product Review: Estée Lauder Pure Color Gloss

This was not supposed to happen...

As I walked through a department store this week I noticed this lip gloss on a display stand. As soon as I held it in my hand I was sold!

What the people at Estee Lauder have to say:

'Lip Gloss with the power to light up your face. True Vision™ technology transforms ordinary colour and makes it extraordinary.
In a wide range of wearable shades with lasting shine for a lasting impression. You'll want them all.

  • Maximised colour impact
  • Magnified vibrancy, clarity and dimension
  • Amplified brilliance
  • Mirror Shine
  • Luminous Shimmer
  • Dimensional Sparkle
  • All with sheer-to-medium coverage'
That said... this lip gloss is the perfect pink colour with golden particles to create a high shine gloss. It cost £16 and comes in a variety of shades. It has a sheer coverage and looks beautiful over a medium pink lipstick. It is very wearable and lasts for a reasonable amount of time. The only thing I don't like about this product is the applicator, I much prefer a brush. However, this is still one of my favourite spring lip glosses!

Anyone else tried this product?
